What's Good360 and Why Do They Exist?

We sat down with our friends at Good360 to learn more about how they're having an incredible impact on our community. They are helping Australians that are in need the most and we couldn't be more inspired to do better, be better and buy better…not only for us but for our planet too. Learn more about who they are and what they're doing.

What is Good360 and when was it started?

Good360 Australia, a charity organisation is a connector. They connect charities, schools, societies most vulnerable with businesses willing to donate unsold and surplus goods, services and disaster recovery essentials. Their mission is to ensure that the excess goods and services that businesses produce every year flow to people in need rather than going to waste. Good360 launched in Australia in 2015.

How does Good360 work?

Charities and disadvantaged schools can register for free Good360 membership. Member charities and schools can order the brand-new goods they need from the Good360 website with 24/7 easy access saving them valuable time and budget. The goods are free, but there may be a small shipping and handling fee for door-to-door deliveries. Good360 currently has 3,500 charity and school members Australia wide who choose the new goods they need for their community helping to provide equality and dignity.

Businesses donate their excess and unsold goods to Good360 as a sustainable solution helping disadvantaged communities rather than the goods going to waste. There are many reasons why businesses may have excess goods eg end of season stock, over forecast, change in branding, a particular line no longer being sold etc.  The brand-new goods are totally fit for purpose and Good360 provides them with a ‘first life’ by connecting them to vulnerable communities.

The result is a Circle of Good that reduces need and waste in our community at the same time, so everyone benefits - from people to the planet.

How has Good360 made a difference to individuals, communities and/or families?

Since 2015, Good360 has connected over 33 million brand new items to Australians in need and businesses have donated over $300 million of brand-new goods that would otherwise have gone to waste. Any size charity or school can become a member of Good360.  Good360 supports 35 cause areas including domestic and family violence, homelessness, disability services, youth services, mental health and wellbeing, Indigenous communities, disaster recovery to name a few.
