 3. We ensure everyone in our chain is treated with respect and correctly paid for their hard work because sustainability doesn't stop with environmental impact.  

 4. We only ever make our products from natural fibres that are good for your pet's health and wellbeing. We love our animals and respect their need to be among nature and natural things. 

 5. Our products are handmade in our home workshop that runs off solar energy. Our designs ensure little to no wastage, and off-cuts are reused, recycled, or composted.

 6. We offer repairs, rewards for recycling and advice on how to dispose of a product without leaving a trace when it can no longer be used. 7. We donate 5% of all sales to environmental and animal rescue organisations. 8. Above all else, we value the needs of the environment, our animals and communities over profit. This is the core of our small business and always will be.   

The star component of our product range is our Organic Hemp. OUR COMMITMENT We carefully select our Hemp from ethical farms and suppliers who ensure fair working conditions, fair wages and the highest environmental standards. There are no chemicals used to grow, mill or process our hemp. WHY HEMP? Hemp is a highly sustainable crop. It needs 4 x less water than cotton to grow. It’s fast-growing and highly renewable. The plants are naturally pest-resistant, so there is no need for chemicals or pesticides. The plant also cleans the soil as it grows by absorbing heavy metals and toxins from the ground in a process called phytoremediation. Plus, it's the highest CO2 absorber on the planet and by far the most carbon-negative resource available. Our pure hemp materials are biodegradable and home-compostable, returning to the earth without leaving a trace - except for all the fantastic benefits it left behind! For all other products, we commit to using only GOTS Certified and OKEO TEX Standard fabric, FSC Certified wood, and Recycled, recyclable, biodegradable and compostable packaging.

We purposely choose suppliers who focus on environmental sustainability, environmental protection, fair trade and sustainable livelihoods. Where possible, we strive to support local Australian suppliers and small businesses; this helps our economy, our communities and saves on unnecessary transport pollution. When needed, we reach out to like-minded, international suppliers who match our strict values and ethics. Our shipping providers are Carbon Neutral to ensure all orders are delivered with minimal impact.

We're committed to using our business for good and giving back to the earth, the animals and the people. We donate 5% from every order to organisations fighting the good fight. We've partnered with Half Cut to help conserve the Daintree Rainforest and AWDRI to support their animal rescue work. Alongside our regular donations, we support local community organisations and events by volunteering our time and donating goods or funding when possible and continue to use our business to help Australians and their animals during times of need and natural disasters.

Our products are all designed and handmade in our solar-powered home workshop in NSW, where our small batch and made-to-order manufacturing process ensures little to no waste. Plus, we get to spend more time with our dog! Every dog is different, they come in all shapes and sizes with individual needs. We understand that dog owners often have a specific product, design or size in mind and would like it to be made by us using our natural hemp. We strive to provide long-lasting products that fit our customers needs, so we welcome custom orders and do our very best to bring your idea to life.

RETURNS / EXCHANGES We want you to love your purchase, so if you need to exchange sizing or decide our product isn't for you, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and original packaging. To start a return, please contact us at info@bohemi.com.au. Bohemi does not cover the postage cost for change of mind returns; this is the customer's responsibility. DAMAGES AND ISSUES Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so that we can investigate the problem and make it right. EXCEPTIONS / NON REFUNDABLE ITEMS Custom products (such as special orders or personalised items) can not be returned for a change of mind. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. WARRANTY We do not provide warranty for general wear and tear as each dog has a unique lifestyle, personality and behaviour. However, if your item has been cared for correctly per our swing tags and cleaning instructions but becomes faulty within the first six months, you may be eligible for a replacement.
