We always look for brands that use environmentally friendly materials in producing their products. Products that are made from natural ingredients or that can be home composted at the end of life, recycled or re used in other ways. We try to avoid plastic packaging where we can and have a whole category dedicated to 'Plastic Free' and 'Refillable' to help our customers purchase more consciously.
Flora & Fauna is committed to ethical, sustainable and socially responsible procurement and we expect the same high standards of our Suppliers. We view our Suppliers as partners and we care about the way they do business when providing goods or services. We ask all of our suppliers for certificates for ethical sourcing and that they meet minimum wage standards required by the local legislation.
We proudly support the community and use our business for doing good. We are proud to partner with and support Where Pigs Fly Farm Sanctuary, a not for profit registered charity based in the Lower Hunter Valley in NSW. We support Sea Shepherd Australia and are huge fans of their work and their dedication to the environment. We've also donated to - Port Macquarie Koala Hospital, Down Syndrome Australia, HeartKids, One Tree Planted and Foodbank.
We are a small, passionate team and we stand for equality and inclusion. We believe inclusion and diversity are key to everyday living. We want to see a workplace that reflects the wonderful richness that we have in the world and the diversity that is in society. It's something we ensure happens at F&F. We have zero-tolerance for exclusion. We are very focused on diversity when it comes to disabilities. 1 in 5 Australians has a disability and this needs to be reflected more in workplaces. Our Founders very own F&F baby, Woody, has Down Syndrome so we raise funds for HeartKids, Down Syndrome Australia, and also highlight how important it is to break down barriers that should never exist.
At Flora & Fauna, we ship our orders plastic-free. We offer a Recycling Program, that allows our customers to send back their plastic beauty packaging and lots more. We are also a member of 1% for the planet, which means we donate 1% of revenue to approved environmental non-profit partners. All our brands are thoroughly vetted to make sure they meet our high ethical and environmental standards before we decide to stock them.
We accept returns on our products provided they are returned in the same condition as they were bought and have not been used, opened or the seal broken. If you change your mind you can return the product to our address, please include a copy of your order confirmation, or a handwritten note with your order number. We do not refund the delivery costs. If your item is damaged/faulty or you believe the product is incorrect somehow please contact us asap. We do not refund for natural wear and tear or for damage caused post receipt. We cannot accept returns or process a refund for a product you use that you have sensitivities to, or are allergic to. We put the full list of ingredients on the website so please look at these carefully
