At Wild Earth, we understand that the operation of our business contributes to the human race's carbon footprint as a whole, which is why we want to do something about it. Following a lengthy review process, in early 2023 we began offsetting the Scope 1, and Scope 2 carbon emissions created by every order, for every customer. It's important to us that we offset the carbon footprint of every order, and that we support accredited carbon offsetting projects, but also that we give our customers the freedom to choose the projects that are most important to them. When you shop with us, we'll give you the opportunity to choose from 4 different carbon offsetting projects that have been verified with Tasman Environmental Markets. We have made a deliberate choice to use the most environmentally friendly packaging currently available for our orders. This packaging is made up of 80% recycled materials and meets the Global Recycle Standard to minimise the impact on our environment. Our distribution centre, Burleigh Heads retail store and head office are powered by over 100 solar panels. These contribute to 60% of our power usage and reduce our carbon emissions by an average of 14 tons per year.

We work with key suppliers to increase our sustainable product offering to include products made from recycled or recyclable materials or from natural fibres (e.g. Merino wool, organic cotton). We have created a product filter for our sustainable product offering called 'Eco-Friendly'.

We ensure to make a positive contribution to our local community through financial and in-kind donations to charities. We also are closely involved with the Gurindji Aboriginal Corporation and this year, 7 staff from Wild Earth volunteered for 6 days at the Gurindji Freedom Day Festival and we worked with key suppliers to provide the tent city for the elders.

We accept returns within 80 days from the date of your order. We are happy to exchange for credit, or refund items in new, unused and original condition. We can provide a Wild Earth store credit or a refund, at your request, where the returned item is subject to the following; - The item is returned within 80 days from the date of ther original order. - Presents "as new" in appearance, be unused, have no signs of wear and tear, and must not be damaged or soiled. - Be packaged in it's original undamaged packaging with all product tickets and swing tags. - That the item's original packaging is not marked or used as the outer layer of packaging for transport. Please ensure you do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging. e.g. Shoe boxes must be placed inside another box or satchel for shipping. - When returning goods please include a copy of your receipt and the reason for the return.
